We made hundreds of goodie bags for Reunion Weekend!
Who doesn’t love a free goodie bag upon arrival? In preparation for Reunion, we brainstormed a way to welcome guests staying on campus for the weekend.
We wanted something simple and cute! With this goal in mind, I suggested a bag with a snack, hangover essentials, and a few other travel necessities. Additionally, I wanted to create a festive tag and information sheet with important details. As always, presentation is of the utmost importance. I sourced vibrant red, gingham ribbon to top the bags off.
The tag showcases the original galloping gael with tagline Welcome Home Gaels!
My coworker Peyton, stuffed each bag with each item, there was a total of 350 bags. Once this task was completed, I included the informational sheet and tied the tag and ribbon on! This project took many hours to complete, if you can believe it tying the ribbons took close to 10 hours.
Hospitality Hack: Taking extra time for final touches always sparks happiness among guests. Something like a t-shirt, goodie bag, or commemorative pin elevates the experience!
The response could not have been more positive! It was such a treat to see the guest’s reaction and even see some of them save the tag for the memory.
