Engaging with Donors

A look into interacting with VIP representatives

At most if not all of the events I worked on, high profile guests were in attendance. Taking this into consideration, I wanted to ensure I was a master of everything Saint Mary's. Additionally, I wanted my passion for the college to feel genuine. Thus, I enjoyed sharing my experiences with these donors.

Within these interactions, I was able to practice communication skills that I have learned from course work. Engaging with people is one of my favorite things to do, people are interesting and you never know what you will discover.

When it comes to donors it may seem intimidating, some would say they keep us going. However, what I have learned is that they love the college and are willingly supporting what is has to offer.

From that shared passion, it is simple to engage in livley coversation and share our favorite Saint Mary's memories.
