Working Homecoming Weekend

Homecoming Weekend was the perfect start to a basketball season!

During Homecoming weekend, I assisted Philip and Bailey in hosting an information booth at Chapel Lawn. We offered guidance to guests, the event schedule, and snacks too!

While manning the booth, I had the opportunity to connect with alumni and other guests of the college. In one instance, I met two sisters who came all the way from Utah to visit the Saint Mary’s museum. It was so special to hear their experience and awe for the beauty of the college.

Hospitality Hack: Be open to conversation. Making connections is important, you never know what opportunities might arise from one conversation.

Collectively, this job was very simple but highly rewarding as I got to meet new and interesting people.
