Remember to Always Say Thank You

By simply showing appreciation and gratitude, an event becomes far more special.

When planning an event with vendors, facilitators must be accommodating to their needs and treat them with kindness. These vendors deliver a service which ultimately make the event come to life. Therefore, it is important to ensure they are thanked properly.

Taking this into consideration, following the Summer Wine and Beer Fest, Philip and I crafted thank you letters for each winery, brewery, and small business. The letters thanked them for attending the event and further supporting the Saint Mary’s College community. We were sure to include how the profits from the event go directly to student scholarships. By including this point, vendors know their donation is going to help a student receive a quality education!

Hospitality Hack: Always say thank you! In showing appreciation, people want to work along side you and are willing to deliver a quality product.

Many of these vendors have been apart of Summer Wine and Beer fest for countless years. Simply expressing gratitude, creates long lasting relationships that make the event all the more special!
