Canva Is the Key to Creativity

Design programs are an important resource in event planning.

Creating graphics, tags, and other paper products has become an integral part of my internship. Truthfully, I owe it all to the application Canva. Canva allows the user to design anything from a social media post, slide presentations, to goodie bag tags. It offers vibrant colors themes, copious fonts, and adorable graphics. You can take a blank template and turn into something memorable and beautiful.

Throughout Reunion, the Winemaker Dinner, and Summer Wine and Beer Fest, I was aksed to develop a range of materials. Naturally, I turned to Canva!

For instance, I created name cards and a menu for the Winemaker Dinner. By uploading a unique patterned paper, I began my quest for the perfect font. The final result was effortless and aligned perfectly with the planned florals for the Winemaker Dinner tables.

Collectively, Canva has enhanced my computer design skills exponentially. At each use, I find myself learning something new and developing something I am proud to present.
